What a fantastic Tuesday it was as we gathered at Hell ‘n Blazes Brewing to celebrate the non-profits we support and reflect on our club’s incredible work throughout the 2023-24 Rotary year.From empowering community projects to forging impactful partnerships, we’re truly proud of the positive changes we’ve made in Melbourne Beach and across Brevard County.
A heartfelt thank you to the non-profits we proudly support:
– Saint Stephen’s Way : Breaking the cycle of poverty with affordable housing and holistic family support.
– Genesis House, Inc.: Supporting young mothers and pregnant women in crisis with temporary housing and life skills.
– Promise in Brevard : Providing independence for adults with disabilities through housing and work programs.
– South Brevard Sharing Center: Offering thrift store, food pantry, and career training for low-income individuals.
– WAYS for Life: Assisting youth with resources for housing, education, and wellness.
– Drown Zero International: Making water sports safer with life-saving equipment and rip tide awareness.
– Gemini Elementary PTO Supporting educational programs like the Advanced Reading and Water Safety initiatives.
– Touch of Grey Rescue : Finding foster homes for pets, ensuring they live happy lives regardless of age or health.
– Marine Resources Council : Working towards restoring our rivers and marine life for a healthier environment.
– Melbourne Beach Volunteer Firefighters Association: Providing essential safety and rescue services since 1953.
– Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Funding research and supporting patients with blood cancers.
– Hubbs-SeaWorld Research Institute: Committed to conserving and renewing marine life through innovative scientific research and solutions.
