🍽️ Gemini Teachers Luncheon
A big thank you to Wendy Darlow for organizing a successful luncheon to honor the dedicated teachers at Gemini Elementary. Your time and effort helped us show our appreciation for the educators who make such a difference in our community!

🗣️ Guest Speaker: Vice Mayor Dave Neuman
We were pleased to welcome Dave Neuman, Vice Mayor of Melbourne, as our guest speaker. Dave shared insights from his work in the nonprofit sector, particularly his efforts to engage younger generations of volunteers. He emphasized the importance of flexible outreach—such as after-work meetings, mentoring opportunities, and aligning volunteer roles with individuals’ personal skill sets and passions—to meet the evolving needs of nonprofit organizations.

He also addressed the city’s ongoing work to support the homeless population. Notably, Dave shared updates on the rebranding and relocation of Daily Bread Inc., which has moved from Fee Avenue to its new location on Nasa Boulevard as part of a broader effort to provide more effective support services.
